About Me

My photo
Matthew
I am a visual effects artist and filmmaker, with the long term goal of making feature films for an international audience. In the past few years I have worked in VFX and commercials at such notable companies as Encore Hollywood, Rhythm and Hues, and Blind Visual Propaganda. My credits include Visual Effects Supervisor for CBS's Extant, Layout Technical Director for Percy Jackson 2, as well as Stereo 3D Artist for Pacific Rim, RIPD, and Wolverine. I earned an MFA in animation and a BA in film production from the University of Southern California, where I directed several short films including Gecko's Gamble, which has screened at several venues including Lahore International Children's Film Festival and Berkeley Video and Film Festival. During that time I also directed an animated opening sequence for a television show at Tokyo Broadcasting Systems in Japan. Before supervising VFX I taught 3d animation for USC at their study abroad program in Florence, Italy.
